Nature 2.0 / Advanced Digital Art is a class taught by Prof. Cary
Peppermint that explores art production in and of networked
environments. The framing research question for the course is: What
does it mean to be an ecological being in the context of convergent
ecological, digital, local, industrial, and global environments, and
how do we make networked art that “interrupts” this experience? That
is, how can artists create texts, objects, and happenings that
reinvigorate awareness of the ecologically and technologically
interconnected world in which we live?
